Camera not detected

Solution for Apple devices

On Apple devices, a connection loss between the camera and the smartphone can be caused:

  • the Giroptic iO battery is not charged enough
  • asperities located in the lightning port of the Apple devices

Before conducting any further troubleshooting, please charge your Giroptic iO to 100% (until the LED located on the side of the camera is green) and remove any dust or foreign body from the lighting connector of the iPhone or iPad.

Solution for Android devices

On Android devices, a connection loss between the camera and the smartphone can be caused:

  • the Giroptic iO battery is not charged enough
  • asperities located port
  • the communication with the Giroptic iO needs to be manually activated (if you have a Sony or Oppo device for instance)

Before conducting any further troubleshooting, please charge your Giroptic iO to 100% (until the LED located on the side of the camera is green) and remove any dust or foreign body from the MicroUSB connector of the Android device.
